To Sync products with inventory from QuickBooks Online to Shopify using Pipemonk, before start playing with settings on Pipemonk Dashboard, you first need to enable inventory in QuickBooks Online. Once you finish that, then you need to configure few settings:


  • Login to your Pipemonk account and Go to the Dashboard.

  • In case you have multiple integrations in your account, select the one for which you want to change the settings.

  • On you click on the integration, you will be redirected to a new page as shown below:



  • Under the 'Settings' tab, click on the 'Inventory' section.
  • Configure the setting for "Do you want to track Inventory in QuickBooks Online" to "Yes". 
  • Select the 'Income Account' for all new inventory enabled products as 'Sales'.
  • Select the 'Inventory Account' for all new inventory enabled products as 'Inventory Asset'.
  • Choose your Inventory master as "QuickBooks Online".
  • Configure the setting for "Do you want to publish new products in Shopify" to "Yes". 
  • Specify TYPE to be used for newly created products in Shopify as 'Pipemonk'.
  • Select the 'Expense Account' to track products expenses as 'Cost Of Goods Sold'.

  • Click on 'Save' and you are all set to go.

That's it. Every sync you run after this will sync products with inventory from QuickBooks Online to Shopify.
