To track inventory in QuickBooks Online using Pipemonk, you first need to enable Track Inventory Quantity on hand  in your QuickBooks Online account.


Enabling Inventory in QuickBooks:


To enable Inventory in QuickBooks follow these steps:


Step 1: Login to your QuickBooks Online account

Step 2: Under your company name, (right hand side corder) select Company Settings under Settings option.



     Step 3: Select the option Sales under Settings.


    Step 4: Under Product and services, click on the edit button and change the option to On for the field Track inventory quantity on hand and click Save.

    Step 5: Click Done when you are done with the change to implement the same.



    Configuring settings in Pipemonk account:

    • Login to your Pipemonk account and Go to the Dashboard.

    • In case you have multiple integration in your account, select the one for which you want to change the settings.


    • Under Inventory Setting, click Refresh.
    • As soon as you refresh the settings; the field “Do you want to track Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS)” will appear under the Inventory Setting section.Change the status from No to Yes. Click Save.
