A deposit account is defined as the chart of accounts in QuickBooks that shows you the total amount of all the paid Shopify orders.
For example,
You have three Shopify orders, amongst which two are paid. Your deposit account shows the total amount of those two paid orders. Once you receive the payment for third order, the deposit account is updated by adding the third amount.
