When you dealing is different currencies at two stores


Let’s say, you have one store dealing in USD and the other one is dealing in Canadian dollars. Right now, QuickBooks Online doesn't convert one currency to other. Thus, it is advisable to sync your native shop in the native currency in QuickBooks Online.


When you are selling:

  1. Same product at both the stores

If you sell the same product at both the stores, assuming both stores deal in same currency, then you should choose QuickBooks Online as your inventory master while configuring settings.

  1. Different products at both stores

If you sell different products in both stores, assuming both stores deal in the same currency, then you should choose Shopify as your inventory master while configuring settings.


When you want to differentiate between order numbers at both the stores.


When Pipemonk syncs your orders from Shopify to QuickBooks online, it maps the order number. When you have same order number at your different Shopify stores, Pipemonk considers it as duplicate and syncs only once. This way, only one order is getting synced and other gets lost.
