Online businesses that have multiple stores or businesses that have both online and brick & motor stores, it is very important for them to track the sales store wise to understand which particular store is doing well and which one is not. 


To resolve the pain of our customers, we have added a new location tracking feature in Pipemonk. Using this, you will be able to track the location of the source of the orders. You just need to configure few settings to enable this feature:


1.  You need to enable tracking location in the QuickBooks Online as in the image below:


2. After that, you need to come to your Pipemonk account dashboard:

  • Login to your Pipemonk account and Go to the Dashboard.

  • In case you have multiple integrations in your account, select the one for which you want to change the settings.

  • On you click on the integration, you will be redirected to a new page as shown below:



  • Under the 'Settings' tab, click on the 'Orders' section.
  • Configure the setting for "Do you want to track the locations/ channels of a sales orders" to "Yes". (See the below Image)



3. Click on the "Save" tab and run Sync.


4. Go to your QuickBooks online and see your locations in the orders will be synced with other details. (See the below image for more details) 




5. If the order is from your Point of Sale (POS) store, then it would look like this. (See the below image)




6. If the order is from your web store, it would look like this. (See the below image)



7. With location tracking feature enabled, this is how you Profit & Loss report will look like (See the below image): 



That`s it. You have successfully enabled the tracking of sales by location. Now, tracking the sales at the store level is now super-easy with Pipemonk.
