Revenue Account is an account which includes cash or receivables received by your company for the sale of goods or services.
Select an account from the drop-down menu where you want to account for your Product Sales Revenue.
QuickBooks Online uses income accounts to categorize the cash inflow for your company. The balance in the appropriate income account appreciates by the value of the product(s) sold, each time a new Invoice or Sales Receipt is created.
Note: This account is only used when creating new Products. Once the products are imported the income account can be changed from product properties and the orders placed for those products will go into the corresponding income account of that product.
